By AHMAD UZAIR | Ali Zafar, the heartthrob of millions is once again striking some chord as he is out with a video of his latest single “Chal Buleya.”. This is the famous poetry Kalaam written by Baba Bulley Shah and has been earlier sung by many singers at both sides of the border. Its the soothing effect of this Kalaam and the message of peace that never makes it old to listen to it and people belonging to different cultural backgrounds continue to sing it time and again by adding their old element to it .
But Right now its Ali Zafar who has come with his own rendition of the song and released it with a video under the label of T-series. The video shows Ali sitting with his guitar and playing the song along with the clippings of innocent people standing at various historical place in Indo-Pak subcontinent. Overall this is an OK performance by Ali and the only special thing about this video remains to be Ali himself as he has become a much sought after entity after his successful stint in Bollywood. Check out the video
It is being learnt that this track was originally a part of Ali’s latest flick “Total Siyaapa” but couldn’t make it to the final OST of the movie hence Ali decided to release it on an independent basis. Nevertheless, it feels good to see Ali back in the avatar of singer which still remain to be his claim-to-fame.
Apart from this, Ali also got into a unexpected exchange of heated words with another legend of Pakistani cinema industry Shaan Shahid at the recently held ARY film awards. It all started when Shaan called out to the people going across the border as “Cheap Sell Outs” to which Ali responded in a very emphatic manner.
But more importantly from the night was the news that Ali was awarded for his services to Pakistani cinema industry and received the award of “International Icon of Pakistan” which is definitely a proud moment for the super star himself who has come a long way to achieve the status of the premium icon of the country.
We congratulate Ali on his recent success and expect that he continues to WOW us in future as well.
