Eid always has been a favorable time for movies to punch in. Last year, it was ‘Na Maloom Afraad’, released on Eid-ul-Azha, which became first Pakistani film since 2007 to make a milestone of longest running film for 165 days (22 weeks) breaking previous record holder Waar. And now, it’s Bin Roye, made under the banner of HUM Films and Momina Duraid Productions, which is an Eid gift from HUM Network to all its audiences and promises to raise the bar of filmmaking in Pakistan.
The trailer for Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan’s much anticipated Bin Roye had already left us more impatient than ever for its release, and then the film’s music release did the rest. The glimpse of songs in the earlier trailer caught eye of many, but with the full music launch of the most awaited and much anticipated movie, taken place in Dubai on June 13, 2015, a ripple of excitement spread through the crowd.
Music of the movie was released for the first time ever to an excited crowd in an especially designed “Bin Roye Line” segment, where the star-cast of the movie walked the ramp on a medley of Bin Roye’s four songs including Ballay Ballay, Chan Chariya, Teray Bina Jeena and Maula Maula.
A one-of-its-kind movie for the new Pakistani cinema, Bin Roye – a Momina Duraid film is sure to exceed audiences’ expectations with its engaging script, picture-perfect direction, flawless production and glitzy cast including Mahira Khan, Humayun Saeed, Armeena Rana Khan, Javed Sheikh, Zeba Bakhtiar, Adeel Hussain and Junaid Khan.
The movie is based on the bestselling socio-romantic novel Bin Roye Ansoo by the legendary playwright Farhat Ishtiaq, produced by the bigwig of Pakistan drama industry Momina Duraid and directed by Momina Duraid and Shahzad Kashmiri.
The story revolves around Saba (Mahira Khan), Irtaza (Humayun Saeed) and Saman (Armeena Rana Khan). Only God and Bin Roye’s Team knows what this story is all about. Moreover, they are eyeing on the film’s “simultaneous international release,” as Humayun Saeed said on the occasion: If they can manage this feat, Bin Roye shall go down in the history of Pakistani cinema as the first film to be released worldwide at the same time.
