Pakistan is wrapped in grief from yesterday, as the plane crash news was announced and Junaid Jamshed was confirmed to be on that flight with his family.
His tragic demise has caused our heart to swell with despair. We all are in shock of hearing this news; some on the other hand still refuse to accept it, “Dil Ko Behlane Ke Liye Ghalib Ye Khayal Achha Hai”.
Junaid Jamshed was a symbol of righteousness, change, and humanity. His humble attitude and graceful personality was one of the reasons for his popularity. Immense respect for him for whatever he did in this lifetime for this nation and for his path as a preacher to enlighten the lives of many out there. He was a great soul. Leaving behind a huge space which can never be filled, now.
Junaid Jamshed stores are reported to be closed for 3 days, in the remorse.
2016 has been a year of loss for Pakistan. We have lost so many legends, who made national and International remarks, who became the pride of Pakistan and fostering this Nation by working for its success & well being.
“Sochti hun mittain gy ye andheray kesy
Log rukhsat huye or log bhi kesy kesy”
- Eidi, the man who devoted his life for the poor and in the service of incapables.
- Amjad Sabri, the legendary Qawwal who were rising to International fame after Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
- Shahlyla Baloch, a Pakistani professional football player.
- And now Junaid Jamshed.
J.J was a popular icon back in the days when he was a musician and a famous singer. His songs are still in our favorite playlist and some of us are such die-hard fans of his songs that all of his lyrics are secured in our memories. Whether it is from his band, Vital Signs or when he went solo.
And also who can forget his beautiful and inspirational qalams in his melodious voice, from Jalwa-e-Janan his first naat to ‘Muhammad ka roza’, ‘Shaan-e-Ramazan’ and so many of them to be enlightened from.
Pakistan is believed to have two national anthems:
‘PAK SIR ZAMEEN SHAAD BAAD’ the official anthem and ‘DIL DIL PAKISTAN!’ a gift by Junaid Jamshed to this country, showing his patriotism and immense love for his homeland.
We are deeply saddened to see losing our national icon. He will have our condolences and prayers, always.
