Set in the present day Karachi, this film revolves around three main characters – Arhan, Manizeh and Nadir and their friendship blossomed out of shared experiences at the same college and a passionate love for music.
Being very talented musicians, the three of them aspire to fame. But living in a society where you are born free, but end up in chains, pursuing your passion begins to seem impossible. Where this film is a reflection of the current dichotomy that exists in our society, this coming-of-age story shall also invite viewers to reflect upon themselves and upon their relationship with their friends, family and the world.
The film starring Mahira Khan, Sheheryar Munawar, Adeel Husain, Sonya Jehan, Bushra Ansari, Nimra Bucha, Arshad Mahmud, Jamal Shah, Munawar Siddiqui and a surprise bunch of cameo appearances, is not to be missed.
Ho Mann Jahaan even prides itself for having a soundtrack of 9 songs, developed by a talented pool comprising of Zoheb Hassan, Atif Aslam, Zebunnisa Bangash, Jimmy Khan, Tina Sani, Abu Mohammed, Fareed Ayaz, Asrar and Mai Dhai Band, along with music producers Faakhir Mehmood and Ehtisham Mallick. Simply an absolute pleasure for music lovers!
Just can’t wait for next year, and to be on the safe side, I am pre-reserving my seat. #JustSaying
